8 months agoMy dad (who was German) used to make Rouladen and it was delicious. :) Also with the red cabbage on the side.
8 months agoThe German meals are so good! :) I have been in Germany in the Spring when the Spargel (white asparagus) is available and it's delicious! :) :)

8 months agoGreat idea to be able to stay in a canoe or rowing clubhouse! Is it like a youth hostel?
8 months agoThese are sweet chestnuts (Castanea sativa), edible. When they are ripe the spiny husk is brown.
3 years agoThese are the ripe berries of elderberry (sambucus nigra). Good to make marmelade or wine.
