The bittersweet emotions of going home are upon us. All good things do come to an end - but in our case, they are to be continued, with all good fortune, next year. We have had a wonderful time reconnecting with Cora and her family, and once again, their hospitality has made us feel so welcome and at home.
It is hard to believe that we started this annual trek to Europe in 2012 - 6 years ago. After that first trip, we were hooked and made the plan to continue this for as long as we can.
Life makes the most sense to us when we are on our bike - and when you add to this, good people and amazing travel adventures - well we are truly lucky.
So, home we go to our moms, our families, friends and the comforts of home in the Gulf Islands. See you next year...if not before.

We waited two hours at the Vancouver airport for our connecting Air Canada flight to Victoria...flying time- 11 minutes. The view is of the Gulf Islands where we live.
