Staying dry is going to be a challenge for the next few days as Chrisobal works its way up the Mississippi valley, but it looks like you will be spared the worst of it. If you had left one week later Natchez might have been flooded.

5 years agoWhat are you gonna do about that sunburn? I use aspirin. Just dissolve 6 or 8 aspirin in a bowl of water, then soak a paper towel with the solution and blot it on the burned areas for 10 or 15 minutes. I do the same thing if I am welding or brazing and bump against something hot and get a burn. Although if the burn is a small area, I make up some aspirin/water paste and apply.

And if you look closely, you will notice a young poison ivy plant just below the lizard
5 years agoAnd also notice the tip of its tail is gone. They lose their tails easily to escape predators, so broken tails are common.
