It was a great trip, Rosy. We got home last night. Europe never gets old and we really felt safe, in Austria especially. We had to show our Fraser Health vax wallet cards everywhere, wear masks in grocery stores, keep our social distance and hand sanitize! Very doable.
2 years agoInteresting. They don't cut it here in BC anymore--you need the electronic version plus government-issue photo ID. We'll be sure to have them handy on our upcoming trip to Spain.
2 years agoIt's a great system! And to be honest, Scott says he finds the extra weight on the front going up steep hills useful in keeping his front tire down. A good selling point, I think! lol

We are home now, too. We arrived last night. What a fantastic bike tour we had and we are so glad to have met you and Effie!
We just appreciated the marigolds for their vibrant colour, but they could be for insect repellent, too. I am sorry, Bill, but we are such urban folk that we have no idea what the plants on the right are.

2 years agoWe are just using our Fraser Health wallet cards. Everyone everywhere has seemed satisfied to see the "Pfizer" and the dates - and often as long as I pull them out, people don't even try to read them. The cards are definitely more valuable than our passports! lol
2 years agoWe are thinking we'll have to go back again and do the ride on a warm, sunny day. It would be spectacular!
2 years agoIt definitely was an experience, but it's good to see life from the other side, too. We can't expect all the roads, bike paths and trains to be run and organized in that fabulous Austrian fashion!
