On and off rain and the Hapsburgs 600 year reign

The rain is back! To center city to get a phone fixed, explored Karntner Straße the main pedestrian shopping street. Tram ride around the Ring Straße narrated by Rick Steves. Then out to Schoenbrunn to tour the Hapsburg’s summer palace, leftovers for dinner, and a concert by the Schoenbrunn palace orchestra.

Used lots of public transport today we really got our money’s worth from the 48 hour pass!

We ate dinner in. Spinach pizza, bread, peanut butter, jelly and popcorn.... very nutritious!

Back to Schoenbrunn Palace. Waiting for the concert to begin at the Orangery at Schoenbrunn.

Concert by the Schoenbrunn orchestra. They played a wide variety of music and also had singers and dancers.

Sandy OsteenThe streets look so clean! I would have loved the concert. Palace is beautiful. I bet you have had enough of the rain, hope tomorrow is sunny. On to the next adventure!
