At Belvedere Palace

Every morning we are greeted by a generous buffet of food. The centerpiece of which is the wonderful bread. We are really going to miss the bread when we get home.

Belvedere All Day Long

A 5 minute walk is 20 and a 2 hour tour is all day long. From Medieval to Modern the Belvedere summer palace offered it all. Highlights included both garden and portraits by Klimt (sp), a Van Gogh, Monet, Manet, statues from St. Stephen’s Cathedral, a Rodin life size bronze statue, beautiful medieval carvings and paintings. Add in the Talking Heads modern face exhibit. Lunch outside near the garden......

Not much riding today - just moving from hotel to new accommodations near City Centre- but lots and lots of walking in the grounds of the palace and through the various exhibits. Up and down lots of steps but nothing like at the ice cave.

This photo of the famous “The Kiss” doesn’t do the painting justice. The gold in the painting is very bold and powerful.
