Reminiscing

Return visit for 2 of us

Stadt park, Strauss statue, Hofburg Palace, Ring Straße, Opera house tour, Volks park, goodbye to one adventurer and then on the train again. All in the rain....

They were working on the set for the ballet that evening.

After exploring Vienna some more, then back to the hotel to pick up our bikes and luggage. 4 were going to the train for the last leg of our adventure and one out to the airport getting ready to fly home. When the hotel staff brought the bikes up we discovered that one bike had a flat tire. It was after 5 so the bike shops nearby were closed. So... we walked our loaded bikes across Vienna to the train station. We were afraid that taking the time then to explore the problem with the tire would make us miss the train.

Made it to the train on time and got settled in for the night.
