Santiago to Vilanova

Back on the coast.

Our stay in Santiago was short and sweet.  After our long day, we didn’t really get a chance to see much of this town until the morning;  which  is a good thing because when I went out for a brief walk in the evening before, the place was a packed with tourist just like us.  Sue and I prefer to explore when all is quiet, so we both woke early and had the old town almost to ourselves.

And, today’s ride?  Well.  Since I am writing this entry a couple of days later, it really is all a blur, and providing details about the ride escape me at the moment.

It is our experience this trip, that most of our riding along the coast has been busy with traffic.  But, Susanna and I have to give credit to the Spanish drivers who have consistently been beyond respectful and courteous, providing us with plenty of space and being careful when passing.  Truly amazing.

Details to come later.

Santiago. Early morning.
