Little Orleans to Williamsport

Awesome downhill, muddy trail, and into Williamsport

This was a fun day. The seven miles back down that steep hill was fun. The hydraulic brakes on my e-bike made it super special as it was easy to control my speed. Then at the bottom we went onto the Maryland Rail Trail for 21 miles. It was smooth! And really quiet and relaxing the whole way. Then a switch back to the C & O  (Chesepeake and Ohio) Trail whose reputation precedes it. We were expecting a continuation of the muddy, messy trail we rode on out of Cumberland but it was in much better shape.
We exited it 0.3 miles from the B and B where we stayed that night. It was sweet!

The view from the lookout at the top of the 7 mile hill at our B&B.
