Hi Keith! Sorry I never got around to replying to this. Thanks for the advice. I will definitely consider the keyboard for the future to allow me to write more. Considering buying a decent camera too to capture all the beautiful places.

When I was in Germany (76-78) there were lots of them along the little paths. Seemed nobody ate them! (except for us)

Ah thanks, didn't know these are also plums. Just looked into it, the red ones are cherry plums and the yellow ones are mirabeles.

Enjoying following your journal from my armchair in New Zealand. Keep up the cooking photos and great stories about the people you meet and places you ‘end up in ‘ by chance.
Top tip, if your stuck, good drinking water can be found in cemetery’s, they usually have taps for flowers.
