Yes of course it is - I didn’t mean to exclude. Not sharing the pic with you all would have been rather rude.
4 months agoHopefully it's also for the rest of us. There are many who'd appreciate a picture of the bus.
4 months agoYes… round up!
4 months agoSizzlin’ rhymes! For all your efforts I’ll give you some dimes
4 months agoKelly I have something just for you - you get a pic of the interior when you read day 2 😃
4 months agoDo we get a photo of the bus interior? Good job on a long day.
4 months agoNow if I can only make it the "world's BEST Dollar Store" that would be an adventure. But ironically, with smaller towns shrinking as more people move towards city metro areas, sometimes a convenience store or dollar store is the only thing left in the area. Proof in point is the one I highlighted, only because that's the only place I saw I could refill water until I get further along in the ride. And McDonald's? I can get out of there for
4 months agoYeah - super flat and that should allow for the big mile days. I know I've said in the past I should cut my mileage shorter and enjoy the ride, truth is I like riding the longer days. So, keep doing what I enjoy doing, eh?
4 months agoCheers, Kelly! I'll try and make it as fun as I can. I can't wait to get back onto the road, even if it's only for 8 days this time.
4 months agoWhile carefully examining the map of your route, I was amused to see one of the points of interest is the Dollar General in Archer, Florida. I have no doubt you'll have a great (and economical) shopping experience there. I also noticed a few fine dining establishments like McDonald's and Waffle House. Along with reports of those experiences, I look forward to your writings about the "Berlin Wall Section" in St. Petersburg. That sounds like Florida's version of the London Bridge in Arizona.
5 months agoThis looks like such a fun winter trip. Can't wait to follow along. About 7k of climbing in 600 miles. I think that works out to an average elevation gain of about 12 ft/mile. Maybe you could subtitle this "Granny gear not required". :-)
5 months agoThis sounds like fun! Enjoy.

Or for the purist, just ride a few laps of the parking lot to get the odometer reading? :-)
