About

We are Richard (Rich) and Robin Frasier, two retired Americans who live in Limoux, France. Limoux is a small town located in the foothills of the Pyrenees in southern France, near Carcassonne.  We retired here in 2015 after a wandering professional life that led us from California to Europe and then back to Oregon.

We are active walkers and bike riders, but by no means super-athletes. Rich rides a single bike, and we enjoy the togetherness and teamwork of riding a tandem.

We enjoy French culture and the French lifestyle, and love living here with our friends in a small, sunny piece of paradise. We travel occasionally, on and off the bike.

Our purpose in creating these journals is to promote bike touring for people like us: A little out of shape, curious about the world, and ready for a little bit (but not too much) of an adventure.

We've tried to keep these journals brief and focused on routes and accommodations. If you have questions or want more detail on anything mentioned here, please feel free to contact us!
