Day 3 - Wonderin’

Felt like everything happened and nothing happened all in the same time. Morning was easy going to lunch around mile 40. Stopped for awhile but we felt good. Some stronger headwinds coming from the east made it a little challenging. Very nice bike paths that were empty, paved, and smooth. An idiot in their car flew past me when we were on the side of the lane and probably got within 2-3 inches of my dad. Not sure if I’ve ever seen a car pass that close. Beach was much louder than the gulf and a wave broke and soaked on of my shoes and both of dads. Rode A1A for 5-6 miles then had some amazing tailwind where we could cruise at 17-18 MPH fairly easily. Campsite is nice and 65° was perfect for t-shirt and shorts. Might not even pitch a tent tonight but we’ll see. Still unbelievable its happening.

Bill ShaneyfeltJust a big old American cockroach. Common and creepy but no big deal.
