Madura Pass to Cocklebiddy

From the Madura Roadhouse we immediately climbed about 150metres onto the Western Plateau and rode west along through its grassy woodlands the whole day. Bird song was a feature of today’s ride as this section of the Eyre Highway seems to be an ornithological hotspot.

A couple of travellers from Sydney at Madura Pass lookout wanted their photo with the fluoro cycle tourers from Canberra. One of their group owned a well known MTB clothing firm that I hadn’t heard of.
