90 Mile Straight

Cocklebiddy to 90 Mile Straight camp

It’s a going to be a great day of long distance cycle touring when you pedalled 65 km before morning tea, spotted four wedge tailed eagles, ridden 45 minutes faster than expected and your co-rider has fitted sails to his bike.

By evening we’d ridden 135 km and found an excellent roadside camp on the 90 Mile Straight about 115 km from Balladonia.

We’d also met Eric, and Rosie and Garth. It’s been an excellent day.

Lovely people Rosie and Garth Steggle waved us down for a chat. They’d heard one of the ABC Radio interviews and are also friends of a friend.
