This is why we wanted to come to Bac Son. And we apparently timed it perfectly with the rice not yet harvested. We waited two and a half days for the sun to come out.

We were riding our bikes around the rice fields just exploring when this very excited Amway salesperson jumped off her motorbike and took over our lives for a time. She was on fire! She rubbed hand lotion into Andrea's hands but no sale transpired.

Andrea BrownShe showed us photos of the Amway headquarters with great pride, it's all in that notebook thing of hers. We didn't have the heart to break it to her about Betsy DeVos.

These were kind of tasty. They were sticky rice and pieces of green onion with a thin slab of meat on the inside.
