Always Take your Passport to Canada….

Niagra Recreational Trail

Niagra Falls is gorgeous from the Canadian side, turquoise water, sparkling plumes of spray, thundering water, rising mist, pleasant temperatures with a high of 80, and a great breeze.

In spite of what they say in the required Arrive Can app an enhanced drivers license does not suffice. Bring your Passport!!!

Going through customs didn’t take too much time.

The path through town was extremely crowded.

Rode south on the Niagara Recreational Trail along the Niagara Parkway. Getting out of town over lots of little noisy bridges and around the old power plant. Rode down the trail about 10 miles and ate at the Lighthouse Restaurant.

The light house restaurant had a wide variety of great food and offered to fill our water bottles. Very bike friendly!

Stumbled across the Chippewa battlefield. The battle was at the beginning of the war of 1812.
