Ventnor

A lovely rest day on the farm with Larry and Carol spoiling us rotten.  It was so good to be able to spend time with them.

Larry took us for a drive up to the upper slopes of the Winterberg which gave us some magnificent views over the route we will take tomorrow.

A deep and dramatic gorge. Larry hurt his knee walking here last week and so if off his bicycle for a while.

The view over tomorrow's route. The Winterberg rises to 2371 meters above sea level but we were below the highest parts.
