A few days in Wellington

After a few days in the national capital, Wellington, we are off to Christchurch to finally begin my cycling adventure but before I leave a few photos of Wellington. While here we played 2 rounds of golf at the lovely Royal Wellington golf club.

Wellington has a lot of street art and this Quasi on top of the library.

Te Papa the national museum across the harbour. Tim made it but I did not, next time.

One is the many older buildings among the new.

Old St Paul’s church completely made of wood. It is no longer a church but a museum.

A local pub was donating funds from every pint sold to the cyclone relief effort so we did our part.

Several of the cross walk signs are not generic but of figures in history. Here are 2 by the museum of Māoris.
