The Coffee Ride

I joined the regular coffee ride group this morning.  It was a more relaxed pace (about a B-) along the waterfront trail to Bell Rock and through so more local trails and neighborhoods.  We returned to the start point “The Bach” café for coffee, tea in my case and a scone.  The local scones have become my snack of choice after a workout.  This afternoon I took Maddy on another beach walk and stopped to watch some surfers for a little while.  There seemed to be more laying on the board than surfing.  In the late afternoon we played a few holes of golf at Ngamotou.

The Bach was our start and finish today.

An old WWII mine that washed ashore in 1943. Since defusing it has occupies numerous locations but it was finally placed along the trail in 2015.
