Off to the Waitomo Caves and New Plymouth

Today the group headed to the Waitomo Caves for those who had not been there to have a visit.  I have seen them, and they are worth a visit, but I did not need to go again.  Once the cave visit was complete we had a 3 hour drive to New Plymouth.  On the map it does not seem that far but the road is holly, narrow and windy plus we were pulling a trailer.  It was a long day but a fruitful one and we are now nestled in bed after a lovely meal with Savy of course.

Monty the lab at our previous motel. He just finished rolling over and was waiting for a belly rub.

A gentle reminder nearthe caves that attract many foreign tourists. Interstingly there were tire skid marks on the road heading toward the sign.

I heard an unusual noise while at the lookout and it turned out to be a Zipliner.
