Renkum Nature Kamping

It should be an easy day - Arnhem is only about 30 km. and we hope to find a campsite in the area.
The south side of the Rhine is more rural with fewer cities. We rode along the south side until we encountered a bike ferry that took us to Rhenen. Our route followed the Rhine and designated forest reserves. It was a very hot day - as we rested in the shade we met a young man who was training for a ride that he is going to take from Arnhem to Prague.
Met a couple on the trail who helped us find a Nature Kamp north of Renkum. What a find - it is a beautiful place set on the edge of a wildflower and wheat field. We will stay a few days and explore the area - plus go to the museum.
Camping here is a pleasure - peaceful and quiet forest setting. The other campers are like us - quiet and enjoying the tranquility.

Today's ride: 38 km (24 miles)
Total: 192 km (119 miles)
