On Our Way to the Reitz Family Farm

The apartment is situated in a very quiet part of the city. The lovely old stone building across the street is a music school.

We have really enjoyed our little apartment in Siegburg

Our final breakfast at Eis Cafe Garibaldi - highly recommended.

Eis Cafe Garibaldi - we have enjoyed eating breakfast in the cafe and staying in their apt. a block away.

Today we are meeting the owner of Akkurad who is going to drive us and our bicycle to a bike shop which is located near our German friends, Georg and Cora. Every year we take our bike to Radhaus Pacak for maintenance and problem solving. The owner, Pacak, is very knowledgeable about Rohloff gear hubs which is important to us as we installed has this special German designed internal gear hub some years ago. The Rohloff requires very little maintenance... only an oil change ever 5000 km. Many people have the same Rohloff hub for over 100,000 km. Pacak is going to change our rear tire and put on new rotors for our disc breaks.
