Mulege to Playa Buenaventura

Today I rode with Tom to Playa Buenaventura which is the last campsite before Loreto which is 63 miles away.  It's a little underwhelming, but the food is good at the bar.  Had a delicious meal of fresh caught Yellow Tail Tuna.  

Today was hilly and we got a late start as we had breakfast with Heike.  The happy It was a difficult hot day as some of the hills were steep.  The most exciting thing about today was that I hit 1,000 miles (1,600 km) on my trip.  Better yet, I hit it very close to a beautiful beach where we took a short break.

A beautiful sunset with clouds the color of cotton candy. The water even had a pink hue to it. Beautiful!
