What a great idea, Andrea.  The Oman video is especially alluring.  Makes me want to get a Troll and take up bikepacking.

I want a Troll too, instead of just BEING a troll.

Don't try without parental supervision!

Not cycling but this simple gift of Steve Martin's musical talent gives me a few minutes of escapist joy and awe.

“The Bikes of Wrath” movie  trailer.   This movie was made by a few young guys from here in Canberra Australia when they retraced the fictional Joad family’s journey from Oklahoma to California. Lovely movie. I saw it here in our local cinema. Some of their family and friends were in the audience.
An edited version was broadcast here on ABC TV

Pedal, a lovely short movie by Hera Van Willick, a young Dutch woman who we hosted through Warm Showers. Some of this was filmed when she was passing through our area. The scene with the snow plow coming by her was at Bow Summit on the Icefield Parkway in Banff on October 23, the day before she got to our place. We were skiing that day! Her film was in the Banff Mountain Film Festival the following year (2017) and she stayed with us again, just after we completed our Eurovelo 6 ride, when she was at the Festival. It made 'Best of Show' and went on the film fest tour. I'm obviously a little biased, but it is a lovely and touching film.

Can't seem to insert the Vimeo link directly in here in a way that it can be seen, so here's the URL LINK. Hope it works

...And here's Hera & Kirsten

Robert,

Epic riding on the Cullins! Not for the feint of heart.

This is my fave Danny MacAskill video ... once again a bit biased as it finishes with a shot of the MacLeod Tables in Dunvegan (the two flat top hills)
