I love the photo of Marian with the Chinese police, a recurring theme in her journals as she single-handedly attempts to re-educate the Chinese police force about their own, changed hotel laws for foreigners.
I'm glad you posted this, Andrea. It's good for Marian and it's good for Cycleblaze. It might not be so good for the police departments and the hotel industry in China, but it's good for those of us who like to read some pretty hilarious writing.
Yes, she flies into battle on behalf of subsequent travelers. Plus I suspect she secretly enjoys it.
