I love Iowa. Have done 14 RAGBRAI's and a solo tour when RAGBRAI canceled during covid. It is a very misunderstood state and yes, there are lots of weird and interesting things to see there. I love the small town museums found all over the state. I was not aware of the Devonian Gorge. Thanks for the info.

8 months agoGreat theme for a journal! My 2 rides into Iowa were pleasurable and I'll be interested to read your future posts. Perhaps the Pearl Button museum in Muscatine will be a part of one of your future ride/stories?

FOURTEEN RAGBRAIs? That's incredible, Tim! I did it once (2009), the year after I moved here, and really enjoyed it, but can't afford the time off work. Once I retire, though......
