Absolutely Rich. Anything that enables the chronologically challenged to continue touring such as what you have just done, ebikes etc is a good thing.

We’ve biked this stretch of the river twice now, but I don’t remember this ferry. I guess we’ll have to go back.

We've used VBT, a company like Austria Radreisen, on several European trips (Heather doesn't like camping :-), and will check them out. I'm glad you posted it, because it should "count" as a bike trip.
