You are so lucky to live so close to such a beautiful area. I really enjoyed the photos!

Well done in so many ways. I too would refuse to wait for someone to ride to the car without me and return to pick me up, even though it was a generous offer! ;’-). Love all your photos and the scenery as well as weather seem to have been about perfect.
I also not only understand, but agree with waiting to get home to do your journaling! It is too much pressure and takes away from some of the enjoyment of a tour if you must journal at the end of a tiring day.
Nice journal Suzanne, thank you for it.

If I were a cow, which I'm not--but if I WERE--I would limbo under that wire and wander aimlessly up that scenic road. Then I would offer a "good mooing" to cyclists and motorists alike. I really like this picture.

Yes, and all the more beautiful for being so late in the season.

Very cool looking town.

We have had more paved surfaces than rough trails, really great cycling here. And much unique stuff here in the Czech Republic, so close to us and so different. More on that hopefully soon, probably when we get back home. As usual I am too tired to want to write at the end of the day.

I love the story and the photos of the radabweiser ;’-). I do find it so interesting about things that are unique to some areas, or eras.

Looks like your bike trails are not paved, but very nice hard packed surface. Your room sounds “cozy” and cute and at least you have those warm duvets to cuddle up in for warmth. Great photos of course and never too many of anything ;’-). Stay safe.

We really do prefer the longer, gradual, ascents. You may be climbing for longer but it somehow seems easier to develop a gentler rhthym than to really push hard for a shorter time.

It is still hard work, even with e-assist. Many people do not seem to understand this.

Excellent to be riding fit so soon and to have good weather forecast so late in the season. Enjoy!
