1 year agoIn medium winds, I have wrapped the flag around the pole and secured with a couple of twist ties. I felt that worked well.
1 year agoInteresting that the state parks in the Keys now have hiker/biker campsites. When we did a Florida tour several years ago, they didn't offer them at all. You were out of luck if you arrived on a bike so we ended up staying in high priced motels.

1 year agoI’m sure glad we don’t camp! We’ve had some really windy days biking but I’m glad we have a place to stay inside. I hope things improve.

So glad, and so fortunate that Barry was not hurt. The cycling on the past day or two does not look too great from this angle. I sure hope the conditions and views improve for you. I have not heard much good about cycling in Florida.
