You definitely are burning a lot of calories and you are eating healthy food!
2 years agoIt’s such spectacular riding around there. We loved the Palouse!
2 years agoGlad to see you can take it easy sometimes!
2 years agoWe have been so lucky. A farmer we sat next to at lunch in Palouse today said we're just at the start of the season for the yellow canola flowers. They haven't peaked yet but sure are beautiful.
2 years agoI remember that story of you two fleeing to the outhouse in the rain, so funny. Thought we might get caught too but we were lucky.
2 years agoThanks Rachael! The portions have been bigly of late. My pants still fit so I guess we're burning it up.
2 years agoIt's definitely a bridge worth repeating.
2 years agoFantastic! I’m surprised it’s still so green this late into the year. You’re lucky!
2 years agoGlad you made it to the top and to your B&B before the rain. When we did it, it started raining when we got to the top so we hid out for awhile but had to head down in the rain but it soon stopped.
2 years agoI really love the views from the top!
2 years agoI’m impressed with the meals you prepare when camping!
2 years agoI love this bridge! Since we were staying right by it for several days I got to ride over it several times.
2 years agoHow wonderful! I love wildlife sightings.
2 years agoSandpoint is a great little town, always has been. We would drive two hours from our home outside of Troy to go out to dinner there. Unfortunately, Idaho has been taken over by regressive politics. Sandpoint's hospital recently closed their ob/gyn labor and delivery unit because of recent punitive laws. Our friends (she is pregnant) that were building a home there are going to sell it as soon as it's finished.

I stayed at the Dor Skeels campground in 2021 while riding the Northern Tier. No mosquitoes then, but neighbors who stayed up late and were noisy. From the photo, it looks like you are camped in the exact location!
