What a great spread!
1 year agoYes these are driven into the ground and grass draped over them to dry. They are not used much now but we have seen them used - about 10 years ago
1 year agoCan't see the photo but I believe what you are seeing are some sort of hangers for storing hay so it dries.
1 year agoNow that kind of breakfast that sets you up for the day. We, unfortunately, are cycling this time round in England and France both of which have less than stellar breakfast options.
1 year agoSo great to see you two on the road and with all four cranks attached. And you do pick the euphoric destinations! Now I want to bike from Roppen to Prutz (with a stop in Zams) myself, just to say I’d been there!
1 year agoGreat find. A very useful place to know about.
1 year agoHi,
Your karma must be pretty powerful to find you a crank bolt. I hope it continues for the rest of the tour.
Cheers,
Keith
Hi,
Wow. I’ve never seen so many together. An occasional chamois wanders into Burgundy, but never in such numbers. Very cool.
Cheers,
Keith
Great find ✔️
1 year agoThe absolute delight you must have felt when you got the bolt enjoy this beautiful countryside
1 year agoI’m so happy and relieved for you two, and for us too so we can keep following. And chamois!
1 year agoChamois?
1 year agoHooray!!
1 year agoHappy birthday! It’s really unfair to have a calamity on your birthday, hopefully you will be able to get it fixed. FYI, you’ve earned a birthday week which includes a new bolt!

That looks familiar! You two are brave to tackle such a challenging route.
