Day 3 New Smyrna Beach to St. Augustine
Today seemed like the real first day of our adventure. We had the team all together and we headed north.

It was a good ride up from New Smyrna Beach to St. Augustine. We were on US A1A much of the way with good bike shoulders and beautiful ocean views. It was really hot again today, but there was an ocean breeze and a wonderful tailwind most of the day.
We had dinner tonight with my brother and sister-in-law at the Gypsy Cab Co. in St. Augustine. The food was excellent and we always have a good time when we get together.
For my Sunflower friends - at a rest stop at a park in Ormond Beach there was this pretty bed of flowers with one sunflower blooming in the middle. I took it as a sign you guys were with me and it made me smile.
