Hua Sai to Nakhon Si Thammarat: An uneventful ride to visit the city of Wat Phra Mahathat

We left the Palm Inn soon after six o'clock and discovered that there were many more choices of accommodation on the road to Nakhon Si Thammarat than previous journals on CGOAB had suggested. There were also some good food options. We used one of these to buy some pork satays and sticky rice for breakfast.

The ride northwards was uneventful and we reached the Original Orange Rooms in Nakhon Si Thammarat soon after ten o'clock. We've got some urgent work that needs to be done so we'll tackle that before going off to visit the Wat. We have been in Thailand for more than a week and haven't been to a Wat yet so it will be good to start with one of the major ones.

EDIT: It seems the visit to the Wat will have to be postponed. A VIC (very important client) has a VUP (very urgent problem). The Wat won't go away but hopefully I came make our client's problem go away.

Today's ride: 59 km (37 miles)
Total: 4,144 km (2,573 miles)
