Castles, castles, everywhere!
Stopping again for another castle picture......
Beautiful, flat, sunny day. Light cool breezes off the Rhine River. First night warm enough to eat in a Bier garten without a jacket. But first a fabulous breakfast on the castle terrace followed by a thrilling (or terrifying, depending on your perspective) ride down from the castle. Let’s just say some had very hot rims while others were barely warm. We are not saying who’s were hottest. But we know.

And then there were castles and pictures and castles and pictures.............. a patchwork of hills and trees, cute towns, and vineyards, along a busy working river. A day right out of a travel brochure.
At the end of the day as we were walking our bikes into the hotel we had our third flat of the trip. A visit to a bike shop is on the agenda for first thing in the morning....
