breakfast was at the Hotel. Nothing unusual.

We started at a more reasonable 9 AM today.  Soon after starting there was construction zone. I didn't think we could get through and it seemed easy to get around. It turned out that finding another passage under the highway was not easy.  We had to drift several miles parallel to it.

We were not right along the lakefront as on some other days.  There was a nice long stretch of 15 miles with almost no turns.  This was a welcome change from the multiple turns per mile we have been doing.

Stopped a t a coffee house about 10 miles out. They did not have Americanos, so I had a Canadiano instead.  some of this hotel King George was a jail. I think we are in the administrative section.

Cobourg seems to have a quaint downtown.

Today's ride: 45 miles (72 km)
Total: 251 miles (404 km)

Jeremy ZornsWhat were your impressions of Toronto's cycling infrastructure, compared to Milwaukee's or Chicago's?

stan rosenstielThere were more bicycle friendly streets besides the usual trails and paths. Narrow streets that discouraged vehicles bur were nice for bikes.
