25 sep at home
I stayed at J and C's house. In the morning, we walked the dog. Put some bikes back together. we had brunch at the train station, and saw MS on her way to Virginia.
Later to lunch at a very successful place in Waterbury called Red Hen.
A little bird watching and then off to the airport for my flight home.
They didn't grab my roller at the terminal, but there wasn't room for it on the plane. Several of us were asked to deplane, so they could check our bags. It seemed pretty haphazard.
I was a little worried, because if everything went well, I could catch the 8:30 coach to Kenosha. The next and last of the day was 9:30.
Bumpy flight. My bag was one of the first off and it had someone else's routing tag on it! Fortunately, they were also going to O'Hare.
Shortly after I boarded the 8:30, it took off. Many other coaches have been late recently, but this one was right on schedule.

It was a pleasant leisurely trip with a great group of people. Everything was well organized and planned. We had a huge problem the last day but managed to get things where they needed to go. Thanks to the organizers. They have been doing this for a long time and are prepared.
