Geneva
We reach Geneva and start our journey.
The path takes us over Baghdad, Black Sea and Hungary to Geneva.
Michael assembles bikes with expertise and we find bike paths that take us through leafy lanes towards Rue Soubeyran.

As we check our bearings, a man with two boys on bikes asked where we were going, and says the magic words: " Follow me."
He tells us about his cycling adventures in Sth America, offers us a place to stay should we need it, and says he will be at the little bar/ bistro at bottom of the building later on.
Our warm showers host has left instructions as he is away, and we find our room. The building is a cooperative. It seems there is a communal laundry, shared open areas, but private apartments. We have a guest room.

Later we do go to the bar, met Philippe, our guide from earlier in the day, his wife and children and enjoyed their company and hospitality . (They insist on paying). All the children play in the garden.
A wonderful start.
