Day 89: Rest Day in Cazenovia
Meeting up with Quinn
“This is so great,” Rachel says. “It’s been 12 years. This is my husband J.C.,” Quinn says. They have come from their town 30 minutes away to pick us up for lunch. Quinn cycled across country in 2009 with friends Ken and Andy, and stayed with us through Warmshowers. J.C. also cycled across country in 1999.

In the morning, Patrick cleaned the chains on the bikes. That’s about the extent of any productivity for today. We have lunch at the Brewery and we catch up with each other. This is so much fun to keep connections. We hope that Quinn and J.C. will one day visit us in Boise.
This was the perfect second rest day.
