Riding to Venice...Florida!

St Pete's to Venice

We loaded up the bikes in Dennises Suburban and headed out the driveway. I took a shot of the Casita for Emma.

Dennis is going to drive us over the Big Bridge from St Petersburg to Bradenton. Bikes aren't allowed.

Dennis dropped us off at the Post Office in Bradenton. Emma had another bag fall apart - the screw's are going to need to be replaced. They keep falling out. She stole a screw from another place on her bag and we will find some screws at another hardware store for her.

We rode along through different towns on roads that were somewhat busy but with very nice shoulders or bike lanes so we just cruised along until we got to Sarasota. We stopped for a very nice lunch in Sarasota.

Shortly after lunch we got on the Sarasota/Venice bike path and we were on bike path the rest of the way to our warmshowers - Shawn and Cecelia.
