Following the East Georgia Greenway

Woodbine to Ridgeville

What a beautiful day we had today. Georgia is getting it together with this East Georgia Greenway Trail they are putting together. Crossing the bridge out of Woodbine along 17, the Greenway is still unpaved so we stayed on the shoulder and traffic was quiet the whole way.

We decided to stay on the Greenway and stick with 17 around Brunswick so we got to ride with a tailwind for a few miles as it looped south around the town. We got to cross this gorgeous bridge.

This is the turn to Jekyll Island. Darn, we didn't plan that one in our travels but it looks inviting.

Just a delightful day. We stopped in Brunswick for lunch. Actually we were north of town and we had a yummy chicken chili soup and shrimp tacos.
