THE END - World’s Whitest Beach Tour - CycleBlaze

October 15, 2023

THE END

Maybe I should change the journal title to “A Short, Unepic Search for The Whitest Beach” because today was the finish and other than a short ride from my son’s house in Sydney to the nearest railway station, there’s no more cycling.

I made it home this afternoon after two CityRail train rides which carried me and the bike to Moss Vale, and then a car ride to Canberra thanks to my daughter who happened to be passing though.

So I’m home, unpacked and thinking about the next tour.

Early start. Moving by 6am. The first train ride today. Those small rubber load straps were useful.

That was lucky. My daughter was passing through Moss Vale on her way to Canberra. And the bike and panniers fit.

Ivy happy to share space with the bike.

Mud map of this whole tour. Approximately a 600km circuit thanks to Thorn Sherpa bicycle, trains and a helpful daughter with a car.
