Day 10 pictures

Better late than never! After sleeping in, a latte, lobster tacos at Rubios, a trip to REI (where I found some nice wool arm warmers, legwarmers and socks) I finally had time to futz with yesterday's pictures. It was tough deciding which ones would make the cut this time. The weather conditions made for some dramatic effects...

These little guys lined the fence at the preserve. They are palm fronds made to look like Christmas deer.

The old homestead at the Palm Canyon. Now it serves as the visitor's center.

Looking back from where I came, about half way up hill one. It would not have been too bad if it not for the wind.
