Pittsburg to Connellsville PA

Close to 60 miles but a good way to get back at it!

A day on the GAP Trail (Great Allegheny Passage Trail). It was another beautiful day and a great way to get back into riding. We rode the day with Stan. It was great to be riding with him again. We listened for a few birds but they are not in the same migratory numbers as we saw/heard earlier on the trip. Still good!

Riding behind me Stan yells, "Gantry, gantry"! I thought he was talking about a bird. I said "Where?" He said "Right there!" This is a gantry - not sure yet what it does but it sure looked interesting.

This was the only place we saw this brilliant red staining on the rock cliffs along the trail.
