Kokomo to Muncie

Head/side winds, cool, and nice riding!

We started a little later in order to wait for it to warm up a bit. It was in the 40s early, then 50s around 9 (so that's when we started), and 60 or so around 10. Wind was from the north and east and we were heading east and south east. But road was flat, no shoulder, but no traffic and a very pleasant ride. The wind did get tiresome though. Snack spot with Nancy out of the wind, then lunch in a good park in Matthew. Finished up on a 5 mile trail that we will ride all day tomorrow.

These signs and street names could be very confusing. I think we were going east and north. Anyway just knowing 600 street might not mean anything. Not too creative in the street names.

Yield???? I think if a train is coming you would yield without a sign telling you to!

These were the first Share The Road signs I saw on the trip. We saw quite a few in Indiana.

And these were the first horses we saw close enough to the road to take photos. They were lovely!
