Phitsanoluk to Sukhothai
We were on the road at 6:08am and took the rather busy road 12 to Sukhothai. We probably should have taken some back roads but the internet connection at the Asia Hotel was very slow and I gave up trying map a route. The road was flat and the ride pretty easy. Thai drivers are mostly very cyclist aware and quite considerate, even on major roads.
By 10:20, before the heat had built up, we had reached the Garden Home guesthouse where we stayed almost 5 years ago and took a garden chalet with aircon at 450 bhat - still good value.
We'll chill here in Sukhothai for the next 2 days. We'll have a wander around the town today and visit the historical park tomorrow.

I ended up sleeping for most of the afternoon. Then we went and wandered around the night market, which had some fatastically gaudy displays.
