Day 2-Mont Sutton Loop

Today we did the the Mont Sutton loop which was 79km/49 mi with 2700' of climbing in perfect weather. The colours are gradually becoming more prevalent as the days go by but they are still not in full colour. This area is the home of Louise Penny the author of the mystery books about Inspector Gamache. Many of the local towns are settings for her books and we have several people on this trip just to see the places that have inspired her novels.

Century old church in Sutton.
