Having grown up in central Canada I am acustomed to the beautiful fall colours of the changing maple trees, sumacs and others. British Columbia is truly beautiful but this is the one thing missing so I have decided to take a cycling trip back east for a fix. The trip will start in the Ottawa valley and include the Perth Sportif. Next we are off to the eastern townships of Quebec where we will be based in Sutton. Our hub and spoke rides will be conducted in this area including across the border into Vermont. Upon completion of the week Patti and I will rent mountain bikes and take a 3 day 2 night trip on the Le Petit Train du Nord that runs from Mont Laurier to St Jerome passing through Mont Tremblant. Upon completion we return to Ottawa before heading home on Thanksgiving weekend.
