Gas/petrol - In the UK and poland and Czechia it is about $8 a gallon or $2 a liter. I did not see it in Germany. In France , it is about $6 a gallon.

Toll booths- here the US seems to be ahead of France. You almost always come to a  stop in France with a gate. There are a few drive thru but  they are still 20MPH.
