Travel Day
Today was our travel day. We had a few last minute errands to run before Jeff came to pick us up to take us to his home, in Henderson, KY, for the night. Our 4+ hour drive was filled with a lot of stimulating conversation and went by fairly quick once we were off US 68, which was the host to the “400 mile” yard sale today.
Joy greeted us at the door upon arrival and the house was filled with the aroma of fresh bread baking in oven. After devouring the bread we were treated to a dinner of baked potatoes with all the fixings...it really hit the spot. Joy and Jeff really spoiled us by putting us up in the master bedroom.
I can’t believe we are actually starting this adventure tomorrow...I think we’re ready.
